Do you want the "freedom" to text while driving? If everyone acted responsibility, these laws would not be necessary. Somebody has to protect us from idiots.

Groupon sales people are very aggressive and not all of them are well trained in tailoring the offer toward the best interest of their customer.

To say it "cost" the banks $8 billion is not exactly correct. They are making less profit on those transactions but they are not losing money on them. So which bank is going to be the financial equivalent of Southwest Airlines and promote no fees?

Impractical advice. Almost every suggestion cost money you don't have. Re networking, anyone will tell you "Dig your well before you are thirsty." If you haven't already built a network of connections, it's probably too late now.

Lighten up, people! This was not a "real" chili cook off. It was a vehicle to share new recipes. I have in my personal library copies of "A Bowl of Red" and "The Great Chili Cook Off" which describe the beginnings of the contests. The rules are very rigid.

I'm what is called an "early adopter" and I've learned so much from Twitter. My strategy is to follow the leaders like the ones you mentioned and then look to see who they follow. If someone continues to post drivel, unfollow!
